ABOUT US

Ahava logo colored-bold letters.png

We are a Mexican-based non-profit organization, founded on the work of ending modern slavery. Our actions are based on different aspects of this problem: prevention, training, case management and protection of child-survivors, who are welcomed at Casa Ahava.

History

After working for more than eight years specifically in prevention, it prepared us as a team to work in the areas of exploitation and assisting victims. We recognized that there is a great need for many more specialized centers, such as shelters for child survivors of commercial sexual exploitation.

The magnitude of the problem worldwide is not just alarming figures and statistics, more importantly, it is the fact that people are living without freedom. While the need to create more shelters is dire, it is just as important to be part of the movement by which survivors can be restored. It is our hope that other organizations will also rise up to open places of rest and restoration for those affected.
